Compared to all of last year's singles the latest song Wings is quite different, musically a commercial rock ballad and the video showcases a lot of mostly private footage of all band members. And obviously it was quite a clever decision to publish the personal and softer sides of the band this spring, because the video generated more than 100k views in just the very first week. But let's hear what the band has to say about their new output and the message of the song:

«If you have a dream — never stop. Reach for it, all the way to the ceiling, all the way to the sky. Because a person without a dream is a bird that forgot it could fly.»

These are the words our video opens with — and they're about us. In this video you'll see footage of us as little kids: our first instruments, our first songs, the moments where it all began. And right beside it — us today, real and unfiltered, in the studio where this new song is being born.

Between those frames lies a whole life: war, separation, roads through different countries, and finding our way back to each other here in Essen/ Germany.

«Wings» is about how the dream we've carried since childhood turned out to be stronger than everything that tried to take it away. About letting go of fear and finally taking flight.
